Crowns
and Bridges have proven successful in enhancing the aesthetic nature
of your teeth and smile as well as tooth structure. Life Smiles
Dental Surgery is dedicated to improving your dental health and
oral well-being through the use of Crowns and Bridges.
Crowns may be utilised to improve the appearance of a natural tooth
or to strengthen and restore a warn-down, cracked or broken tooth.
Crowns are fitted over your natural tooth. Conventional Crowns are
made from porcelain and in appearance resemble a natural tooth.
A full Crown is suggested after a Root Canal or if a considerable
amount of tooth structure is lost when a tooth is cracked or broken.
Crowns are necessary when there is no longer sufficient tooth structure
left to insert a filling.
Bridges may be utilised after a tooth is lost. Bridges are an aesthetically
pleasing solution that looks natural and discrete.
Bridges are a type of restoration that cover the place, where one
or more teeth are lost from the dental arch. In these instances
the lost teeth are replaced with Bridge work. Other teeth around
this area are then created as Crowns to support the new tooth/teeth.
